Why Seamless Gutters Are Better

Why seamless gutters are better
Living in Colorado, the weather will change every 20 minutes; it could be sunny one minute, and a massive hail storm the next. Roofers and gutter specialists are constantly on call because of all the inclement weather damaging people’s homes. Many people investing in the least efficient type of gutter, especially for this Colorado weather.

What type of gutters are people investing in that aren’t as efficient?

Well, many people invest in sectional gutters, rather than using seamless gutters. These types of gutters are not efficient in:

  • Expansion and contraction, which will break the seal around the sections causing leaking hazards also causing paint damage and damage to the fascia board. Ice may also form below causing slipping hazards.
  • Resealing the seams if breakage appears takes an excessive amount of time and money, and it rarely lasts long.
  • High winds, heavy snows, large ice formations, deep freeze and thaw cycles are all factors that contribute to the breakage of sectional gutters.

Sectional gutters are cut in 10 foot segments. When one segment gets damaged it affects the surrounding sections. With a seamless gutter, you don’t have to worry about the above listed problems because they aren’t an issue if there are no seals between sections to worry about.

Seamless gutters made out of steel, aluminum and copper especially, are the best type of gutters out there. Seamless gutters made out of steel contract and expand to a lesser degree than seamless gutters made out of other materials and sectional gutters. Living in Colorado, the climate changes in the blink of an eye so being prepared for this and investing in steel seamless gutters, you will save time and money.  Seamless gutters last the longest and are the best gutter, costing no more than a sectional gutter.

In addition to these benefits of seamless gutters, seamless gutters come in more customization colors and styles. With even more options and flourishes available, your seamless gutter will complement your exterior. Custom gutters are also available.

Protect your investment by trusting in seamless gutters; they are the most reliable and stylish gutters on the market. Colorado Seamless Gutters is the leader in seamless gutter installation.

I have noticed that the gutters on my house aren't doing a very good job when it rains, and I wanted to see if there was another option that would work better. It's interesting that seamless gutters actually last longer than most others. It would be nice to get gutters that aren't old, and will last us a lot longer.

Great article. I own a roofing company and we also specialize in gutters, and not many people know the difference between seamless, and sectional. Great information. Glad I bumped into it.

Getting seamless gutters that will last the longest is a great idea. Being able to have them last longer would help you keep your home in good condition. Knowing the material, color, and style of the seamless gutters before you get them will probably help you get the one that will best suit your home.

Expansion/Contraction is the main problem with guttering we deal with up here. Im guessing its down to low quilty gutter produced as it seems to be on most new builds around here.

My husband is wanting to have the gutters replaced on our house, but we need help in knowing the best way to go about doing it. It's interesting to know that when it comes to using seamless gutters, that there are a lot of benefits t them. I like how you stated that since these gutters are made out of strong materials, that they last a long time. Personally, I believe that it will be nice to only have to replace them once and not have to worry about it again.
