Customers who request Custom Work are usually more discerning and can appreciate the difference between mass-produced standard materials and installations and distinctive, unique and artistic installations, that require considerable skill to execute. They understand that artisan products require a much higher level of craftsmanship and proficiency, and custom projects take much longer to complete than ordinary jobs.
Custom fabrications and installations are one-offs. They take longer to design, layout and construct, and often require incredible patience and attention to detail to install.
Standard work, such as 5″ and 6″ K-style gutters and the matching fluted rectangular downspouts that go with them, can be performed by all of our competent installers. However, Custom work requires a much higher skill set, with more thought, time, and experience that go into the finished product, along with a little trial and error!
At a certain point, custom sheet metal work transcends the technical proficiency necessary to achieve great results. The skill and attention to detail that yields beautiful, functional, long-lasting sheet metal projects borders on the artistic. Or, as has been said: If you use your hands, you’re a laborer, if you use your head, you’re a craftsman, if you use your heart, you’re an artist.
We hope that when others look at our work in the future, they’ll appreciate our skill, and wonder at our artistry, although they’ll never know our name…
